Description
ElkRidge Greens was designed with a high producing, high protein food source in mind. The mix of cool-season grains and brassicas makes it an excellent choice when both year-round and late-season forage production is desired.

Weed Control
- Plant into a clean, weed-free seedbed for reduced weed competition.
- If weeds are present at planting, consider applying glyphosate before or after planting if drilled, but before crop emergence to control existing weeds. Do not apply glyphosate after planting if crop is broadcasted and not incorporated.
- If weed pressure is present after planting, consider mowing the weeds to the height of the crop until weed pressure subsides.

Typically you plant in late spring (mid-May through mid-June) or when soil temperatures reach 60 °F.

Late summer to early fall, which is typically August through beginning of September, depending on your location.
What can I spray on my clover food plot mix?
If you have a grass or weed problem, use Poast® herbicide. Apply at 1.5-2.5 pints/acre.
If you have a broadleaf weed problem, use Pursuit® herbicide. Apply at 3-6 ounces/acre.
